Welcome, friend! I am so glad you are here. I'm Shela. I am a ministry wife, mom of two young ones, biblical counselor, and creator of Olive North Co.
Our life | glorious & ordinary
We are living the dream over here, a quiet and peaceable life. My husband, Jeremy, pastors a small church in the south shore of MA, and I am busy tending to our two littles, Olivia and Benaiah. We are striving to esteem truth, beauty, and joy in our home as we live and work to build up our local church in maturity, teach our kids a loving fear of God, grow in hospitality, and rejoice in the gospel!
Our foundation | biblical & sound
We esteem the Bible as the inerrant, infallible, and utterly sufficient word of God. We consider it a privilege to study it, and to establish our lives on the truth of God that he reveals to us through it. Jeremy and I both hold degrees from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (M. Div and M.A., respectively). It's really the greatest thrill to know that we have the Truth in our hands, the mystery of Christ revealed, complete certainty in his promise to return for his own.
Our work | a family effort
I am behind the operations and creation of the resources you see here. Jeremy is a great support as sounding board for biblical accuracy / theological robustness in everything we produce. Olivia and Benaiah offer me the glorious task of mothering and ground me in the good works of bring order, beauty, and culture to our home.
